Ash blonde hair has been become very popular hair color in these couple years. Today I’m going to share with you how I transform brassy hair to ash blonde hair.

It's very important to have a consultation before you start the service, especially for the first time client. Understanding client's hair history will help you to make correct decision on how to take them to their desire look. For this case, my clients want to have ash blonde hair. During pandemic, she tried to bleach her hair by herself. The result turned out her roots became orange undertone with uneven color on all over the hair.

After consultation, you need to check how the client's hair condition. My client is Asian American. She has natural level two hair with a lot warn undertone. Since she tried to bleach her hair at home, and made her roots become orange, dry, weak and damage. 

In this case, I decided to bleach her roots first. Since she has natural level 2 hair. The darker hair the warmer undertone. Therefore, I decided to use Schwarscaf blonde me 9+ bleach powder with 20 vol. I applied on thin section. Between each section, I place foils to conduct the heat. This way I can lift her hair as much as I can without using any heater. 

After the roots almost lift to pale yellow, I started appling shcwarscaf blonde me 9+ with 10 vol from middle to the end of the hair. This way we can remove the uneven tone on the hair and still minimize the damage to the hair. 

After shampooing hair, I mixed Aveda On, grey and light ash to tone her hair. This is how her hair looks like when hair is wet. 

Now, it is time to take the finished look. Look how beautiful her hair is. The brassy hair is gone. I successfully transform her hair to be a nice, ashy, silver grey hair color.
