Due to the COVID-19,  the  most of states in United Stated announced "STAY AT HOME" order. A lot of people lost their job or got lay off. It's very difficult situation now. Here is one of solutions which can let you reduce your stress a little bit.  Apply Unemployment Insurance!!!

Each state has different rules for  Unemployment Insurance. Here is the example on how to apply in California.

Q: Who is qualified for applying Unemployment Insurance from EDD?

  1. You had jobs in the past and did tax return every years.
  2. It's not your fault to loss the job.
  3. You are looking for a job and willing to work anytime.
  4. You are healthy and you can work anytime.
  5. You won't refuse any opportunity offered from EDD
Q: What information you need to prepare?

  1. Last employer information including company name, supervisor’s name, address (mailing and physical location) and phone number
  2. Last date worked and the reason you are no longer working
  3. Gross earnings in the last week you worked
  4. Information on all employers you worked for during the past 18 months
  5. Citizenship status, and, if you are not a U.S. citizen, information from your employment authorization document
  6. Driver License number
